It's the most wonderful time of the year! This week will be a CJHS Christmas Spirit Week! Each day will have a Christmas related theme. Please remember that you MUST follow school dress code. Monday is class color day -6th graders should wear white, 7th graders should wear red, and 8th graders should wear green. Tomorrow is Christmas Pajama day, but remember, no onesies.

The Red Stocking Fund collection begins Monday. During advisory, we will be collecting spare change, dollar bills, and more. All money goes to help CJHS students and families in the winter months. It helps provide holiday meals, winter hats and gloves, warm socks and more to those in need! Any amount helps. Please call the CJHS Office with questions. Thank you and have a great weekend!

Come join our Boys Basketball team on Thursday Dec. 8th for our Going Gold for St. Jude night during our basketball game against Dunlap Valley. We are having a gold out to show our support for our basketball team, but also to show our support for all the children battling childhood cancer. This game will be a great game and exciting to watch. We will be selling gold silicone bracelets and snap bracelets for $1 and at half time we will be selling tickets to win a chance to take a half court shot at half time for gift cards. There will be fliers around the school with information.
Girl's Volleyball Try Outs will be held again tomorrow December 7th from 2:30-4:00pm. You MUST have a current physical on file to be able to try out. If you have any questions please see Mrs. McGraugh or Mrs. Pieper.

Come out to support the girls' basketball players at their last home game tonight against Metamora. It is 8th grade night and we are hosting a special "Gold Out" night to raise money to help support families and children battling childhood cancer. Wear gold and bring a donation for St. Jude. We will be selling tickets at the game for a half-court shot attempt during halftime of the 8th grade game. If your name is drawn, you will be able to try a half court shot to win a prize. Preparations for the 2022-23 school play have begun! Auditions will be held Wednesday, November 16 at either 6:30 a.m. or immediately after school until 4:00 p.m. Auditions will be held in Mrs. Vance’s room #114. Callbacks will be TBD as needed.
Congratulations to the 7th grade girls' basketball team on their win over Chillicothe Wednesday night, 31-21. Leading the way for the Wildcats were Maddy with 12 points, Addison with 9, Lia and MJ each with 4, and Olivia added a basket.
