Reminder...Wednesday we are "GOING COSMIC FOR KIDS" in PE. Mrs. Silotto has arranged an amazing glow bowl day for PE! If you would like to help her raise money for St. Jude, she is selling the following items that students can purchase: $1 each (popcorn/water/cosmic treat/glow bracelet) or $2 for a St. Jude bracelet OR...students can get ALL items listed for $5!!!
REMINDER...come and support our friends at the talent show tonight! February 29th – SHOW-at Lincoln School. Doors will open at 5:30. The show will start at 6:00.
No School Monday, February 19th in observance of President's Day. Classes will resume at their regular scheduled time on Tuesday, February 20th.
Reminder that the first talent show practice is tomorrow. Those students will ride bus 28 on the days of practice. Feb. 15, 20, 22nd and dress rehearsal the 27th. Practice is 3:30-4:30.

Reminder tomorrow, Friday, February 9th is a School Improvement Day. All students will have early dismissal.
K-2 buildings will dismiss at 12:30 p.m.
3-5 Buildings will dismiss at 12:40 p.m.
Lunches will be served at all K-5 buildings.
There will be no classes for Early Childhood
Classes will resume at their regular scheduled time on Monday, February 12th.

Christmas Concert Tonight!
The students of Shute Elementary will be performing in a holiday program on Wednesday, December 20th beginning at 6:00 in the auditorium of East Peoria High School. The doors to the school will open at 5:30, and the theater doors will open shortly after that. We will begin promptly at 6:00 so please have your student there prior to that time. Students will meet their teacher in the designated seating section in the theater this year. Lincoln’s program will follow immediately after at 6:45. Our performance is without cost and open to everyone.
Student seating can be found through the first door upon entering the theater.
Please keep your child's coat and other winter gear.
Please check for a bathroom need prior to drop off, as the restrooms are not easily accessible from the theater.
At the conclusion of the program, please send one guardian to the cafeteria (looking from the stage - back and to the left) to check your child out from their teacher; that area of the school tends to bottleneck very easily.
Students are encouraged to dress neatly for our evening performance. Hope to see you all there!"
