Out of an abundance of caution related to the potential of weather concerns this afternoon, Central Junior High School will be dismissing students at 12:30 pm. K-2 schools will be dismissed at 1:30, and 3-5 schools will be dismissed at 1:40 pm. Please contact your child’s school if this changes their transportation for this afternoon. Latchkey has informed us that they will also be closing at 4:30 pm due to weather concerns. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We appreciate your understanding as we look at the safety of our students and staff.
Report cards are being sent home today. Be sure to check your child's backpack/folder!
Welcome Back Shute Superstars! We hope you had a great Spring Break.
Friday, March 17th is the last day of school before Spring Break. This is a full day of school, and we will dismiss at normal times. Classes will resume on Monday, March 27th. Have a great Spring Break!
Don't forget to send in your dimes this week for the class coin wars!!! We will see which class is the winner and brought in the most dimes this week.
We are extending the glow bracelet sales and they will be available for purchase tomorrow or until supplies run out. These will be for kids to wear during their glow bowling PE time on Friday. Bracelets are .25 each with a maximum of 4 per child. Also, don't forget to send in your dimes for your child's classroom and/or $1 per ticket for a chance to pie Mrs. Silotto in the face. Don't forget that proceeds from all of these activities go to St. Jude!

REMINDER...tonight is the talent show at Lincoln School. The spaghetti dinner is at 5:30 and the talent show begins at 6:00. Hope to see you there!
FUNDRAISER ALERT!!! Our Krispy Kreme fundraiser begins today and runs until March 1. The pickup date from Shute school is Thursday, March 9th from 7:30 am- 9:30 am.
The Special & Regular February Board Meetings scheduled for Thursday, February 16, 2023 have been moved to Tuesday, February 21, 2023. The CJHS Boys Basketball Team will be play at State for third place on Thursday, February 16th. Good luck at state!!!
REMINDER...Team Teachers will be selling Hershey Hugs & Kisses for the students to buy and send to friends, siblings, teachers, classmates, or themselves! The cost will be 50 per bag. Your student can now send money in on any day of the week and hugs and kisses will be delivered on Fridays!

Reminder...tomorrow your student can purchase Snowman Soup for "Cocoa for a Cure". The cost is $1 for a packet which includes a pack of hot cocoa, mini marshmallows and a candy cane. All proceeds help support Team Teachers (our Shute teachers that run for St. Jude). Tomorrow is the last Friday that this will be sold. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!!!
