Check your child's backpack for a bright pink letter that is being sent home today regarding our holiday music program!
Mark your calendars! The Shute/Lincoln holiday concert will take place in the EPCHS auditorium on December 13th. Shute will perform at 6:00 and Lincoln will follow at 6:45.
As we move into the colder months, please make sure your student has a winter coat and other weather-appropriate gear at school. If you need help securing these resources, please do not hesitate to reach out to your student's teacher or any of the Shute staff.
Just a reminder...there is no school on Tuesday or Friday this week due to Election Day and Veteran's Day.
Tomorrow, November 4, is a half day SIP day! Students will be dismissed at 12:30.

Our Halloween centers were so much fun at the end of the day today. A huge thank you to everyone who was able to volunteer to help make everything run smoothly!!! Have a safe and fun Halloween!
SAVE THE DATE! District 86 will host a community-wide trunk or treat at CJHS on Sunday, October 30 from 4:00-5:30pm. District staff and community
organizations will be there with their trunks open for all children - ages birth through 8th grade - to participate! Costumes are welcomed but not required.
Just a reminder that tomorrow grandparents will be able to come from 7:30-8:30 for breakfast. Doors will be unlocked with signs directing them to the cafeteria and to the book fair. Muffins, juice and coffee will be available in the kitchen serving line for them to help themselves.

We will be having a Scholastic Book Fair set up at the school from October 12-14th. Your students will be visiting the book fair during scheduled class times to browse and get ideas of something they may want to purchase. There will be information sent home soon about the book fair as well as a Grandparents Day Breakfast on October 14, from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Stay tuned....
Happy Last Day of August, Shute Parents! You have hopefully received the newsletter and attached documents, if not yet you will soon or you can view it through our website under Documents or News. We also wanted to make sure everyone has had a chance to view the Arrival/Dismissal parking lot document (included in the newsletter). Nothing has changed just wanted to share it out for everyone! Thank you for your patience as we have worked through the first few weeks of school getting everyone back into a routine. Student class lists and bus lists will be posted at your child's school building beginning today at 4:00 pm. This information can also be accessed through your Family Access account in Skyward. As a reminder, the first day of attendance for students will be Wednesday, August 17.
